The thematic window on youth, employment and migration (YEM) of the UNDP-Spain Millennium Development Goals Achievement Fund (MDG-F) was launched to support interventions promoting sustainable employment and decent work for young people.
The YEM thematic window consists of fourteen Joint Programmes (JPs) that span across countries in Africa, Asia, South-East Europe and Latin America.
A global workshop took place from 29 to 31 October 2012 Dominican Republic. During the workshop JP teams shared the knowledge gained during the implementation of the joint programmes, discussed good practices and lessons learnt, exchanged views on how to ensure the sustainability of achievements and agreed on action to maintain the YEM global community of practice.
