ILO part of UN Joint Programme with UNDP, UNWomen and UN Habitat

The ILO Office for Pacific Island Countries has been contributing to the development of a UN Joint Programme to support recovery efforts in Vanuatu. The joint programme supports recovery of communities and local government in the provinces and islands affected by Cyclone Pam, with the aim to promote restoration of livelihoods, community and local government infrastructure, debris clearance and building resilience with a special attention to women, young people and most vulnerable groups.
