1. THE TRIBUNAL NEED NOT ENTERTAIN THE COMPLAINANT'S CLAIM TO PAYMENT OF 5,001 FRENCH FRANCS.
2. INTERPOL SHALL PAY HER 5,000 FRENCH FRANCS IN COSTS.
3. HER OTHER CLAIMS ARE DISMISSED.

Article 61(5) of the Interpol Staff Rules empowers the Secretary General to grant an official a supplementary indemnity on termination of appointment, "taking into account the particular circumstances relating to the personal situation of the official concerned". The Tribunal finds no evidence of such a "particular circumstance" in this case.

Extract:

The complainant originally claimed 5001 French francs which she said were mistakenly deducted from her termination indemnity. The Organization having acknowledged its mistake, it paid her the disputed amount after she had filed her complaint. Under the circumstances the Tribunal need not entertain the claim. However, she is entitled to an award of costs.
