Judgment No. 2758

Decision

1. The ILO shall pay the complainant 2,000 United States dollars in compensation for the moral injury suffered.
2. It shall also pay him costs in the amount of 1,000 dollars.
3. All other claims are dismissed.

"[D]eceit consists in the manoeuvres of one party to mislead the other and obtain his or her consent. Deceit cannot be presumed; it must be proved, if necessary by means of strong, precise and concurring presumptions."
