The ship arrived 2 months ago at the port of Santa Marta with operational problems and has remained off and at anchor, aboard the vessel ship owner has a fuel since October 2020 but this product has not been received by buyers.
The ship owner says that he will pay directly the owed wages and the repatriation expenses.

The ship owner promised to Harbour Master and PSC to pay the repatriation expenses of all the crew.

The ship owner is pending to pay 4 months owed wages to the crew: November and December 2020, January and February 2021 plus 15 days March 2021.

The ITF Colombia Inspector has submitted a complaint to the Colombian Maritime Authority to protect the rights of the crew, unfortunately Colombia has not ratified the MLC 2006, the Inspector also submitted a complaint to the Mongolian Maritime Authorities, country of registry of the vessel.
The Ambassador of Panama in Colombia and the Maritime Authority of Panama AMP sent to Mongolian authorities a document of support to the 8 Panamanian crew aboard. Recently all the crew were infected by COVID 19, fortunately all recovered and Chief Mate remains in a hotel in the port.
Finally 9 crew members have started legal actions with a Colombian lawyer against the ship owner to seize the vessel.
We hope that the crew will promptly receive their owed wages and may be traveling to their respective countries. It is very possible that if the problem with the crew has not been solved for the next week, the court will be ordering the seizure of the vessel. The vessel remained with the expired P&I for 2 months, the ship owner paid, and the insurance was reactivated a week ago.
