Circunstancias:More than 600.000 USD unpaid wages. 5 months has been spent at the anchorage area. No food, drinking water and Bunkers. Vessel is arrested by the court decisions by 13 different creditors. ITF provided some emergency supplies but bunkers can only be supplied through local agent which requires a court decision - vessel is now close to black out.

Owner-Manager has disappeared. Local Agents don’t want to take any responsibility and gave a statement to H.M. that they are no longer the Agent of the vessel. ITF affiliate in Turkey has arranged a lawyer for the unpaid wages of the crewmembers.

Dear All
This is the latest update on Wardeh from our inspector:

Today most of the crewmembers of the mentioned vessel has been repatriated. 6 crew. to Sudan, 22 crew. to Lebanon and 6 crewmembers applied to Turkish Authorities for getting official permission to stay in Turkey as the immigrant.

More then 600.000 USD but only 18 crewmembers gave POA to the lawyers.

Whole Turkish authorities are well aware of the case and official correspondence among them is apparently on-going.

Jan, Many thanks for your assistance on this with the Turkish Authorities. We have also been working closely with the Turkish Chamber of Shipping and its member in Mersin last week to try to get a suitable resolution to this case quickly. Please do not hesitate to let us know if there is anything you wish us to ask them to do to assist in this regard.
