Comments and Observations:ITF (14 January 2021)
On the 16th of December, while proceeding out of Port Harcourt Nigeria, pirates boarded the vessel and kidnapped 8 crew- 6 Ukrainians and 2 Albanians (father and son). The kidnapped crew are; Master, Ch. Off., Ch. Eng, 2nd. Off, Electrician, AB and 2 Oilers. The amount due to the officers plus the amount for the cook is unknown. The cook is currently recovering in hospital from an occupational injury.

ITF (5 February 2021)
8 crew who were kidnapped were released on 29th January 2021. The Ukrainian Master, Chief officer, Chief Engineer, 2nd officer, Electrician, AB and the Two Albanian Oilers had been kidnapped on the 16th December 2020 at around 05:00 while the vessel was proceeding from Port Harcourt. The crew is now safe and have been taken to a clinic and it is planned that they will be taken to a hotel

P&I is working to convince the owner to send a Nigerian replacement crew on board in order to have the present crew repatriated.

ITF (10 August 2021)
The kidnapped crew were released and repatriated together with the other crew that had remained onboard. The 4 months owed wages plus repatriation has been paid by the P&I North of England. Resolved.
