Crew have been suffering problems with non-payment of wages and lack of supplies since October 2017. Wages were settled up to May 2018, but no further payments received post May 2018. Owner has repeatedly promised to resolve the situation, but failed to do so. At least one crewmember has paid for his own repatriation in order to escape the situation. P&I club have confirmed they will step in and resolve the issue

Dear Jinhak,

The above case can now be classed as “disputed”.

On 4 October 2018, the remaining 5 crew members were paid 4 months’ wages and repatriated by the P&I club. Each of these crew members is still owed between 1 and 3 months’ wages. There are also a number of ex-crew members who are owed outstanding wages, including one who escaped the situation by paying for his own repatriation prior to the case being reported to ITF.

Kind regards

Jonathan

Gouv. de Panama (31 décembre 2020)
PMA imposed a documentary restriction over the vessel, which prevent the cancelation of the registry and the change of ownership in the registry.
According to the Database, on November 20, 2018, ITF indicated that "The above case can now be classed as "disputed", and on October 04, 2018, the remaining 5 crewmembers were paid 4 months' wages and repatriated by the P&I Club."
