Comentarios y observaciones: | Fed. Int. de los Trabajadores del Trasporte (ITF) (15 Marzo 2021) Some of the seafarers seem to be afraid to complain after receiving threats.
Fed. Int. de los Trabajadores del Trasporte (ITF) (6 Abril 2021) From ITF Coordinator, Spain Three Honduran crew successfully were repatriated on the 23rd of March, 2021 by ITF. However they didn´t get the money. The safety deficiencies reported by the crew and the substandard vessel that we could see on the videos received were reported to the PSC in Dominican Republic and to the Flag State.
Fed. Int. de los Trabajadores del Trasporte (ITF) (13 Diciembre 2021) Case still in Dominican Republic courts with crew’s own appointed lawyer. Next hearing 14 Feb 2022.
Fed. Int. de los Trabajadores del Trasporte (ITF) (6 Abril 2022) Vessel has now changed name to CETUS and flag to Comoros. The vessel departed the Dominican Republic late February/early March in defiance of a court order.
