1. Further to our previous correspondance please be informed that appropriate actions have been taken by the Greek Maritime Administration for all the remaining fifteen (15) crew members, including two (02) Greeks and thirteen (13) citizens of Philippines, on board M/V Angelic Power IMO No 9250189.
2. Greece via diplomatic channels requested from the competent Chinese authorities to permit the disembarkation and repatriation of all crew members.
3. In this regard, and pursuant to the provisions of paragraph 5, of Standard A2.5, of Regulation 2.5 of Maritime Labour Convention, 2006 (MLC,2006) of the International Labour Organization, Ministry of Maritime Affair and Insular Policy of the Hellenic Republic covered the total cost of repatriation of the above mentioned seafarers, which took place in July 2021, 22nd.
4. We would also like to express our appreciation to the esteemed Chinese authorities for their cooperation.

From Minister, Consul and Alternate Representative to the IMO
Just to confirm what has been relayed by Commander Doumanis regarding the repatriation of the 15 seafarers (2 Greek, 13 Filipinos) on board M/V Angelic Power. According to the Philippine consulate in Guangzhou full repatriation off all seafarers had been shouldered by Greece. The Filipino seafarers were repatriated last 22 July 2021.
ITF (7 January 2022)
The outstanding wages we understand are held by the crew’s lawyer following the court case. The crew have been repatriated but we have no confirmation that the wages have been released yet.
ITF (25 January 2024)
Crew repatriated on 7th January 2022 apparently the Lawyers had the crew wages but no confirmation that the crewmembers received their owed wages.
