From agent (WHALES SHIPPING LINE LLC)

We would like to inform that MT NEREUS is currently staying at DMC, DUBAI since last one year under our agency and vessel owner was taking care of all the expenses since last December, unfortunately he failed to meet the vessel expenses including crew salary from Feb 2020 due to financial crisis and dry docking jobs were also got delayed.

We as an agent provided with all the necessities to the crew onboard including provisions and fresh water for safe stay of the crew and all the expenses till date is incurred from our own account.

The vessel owner has finally decided to sell the ship. It is decided between the existing and new owners that crew salary will be settled first by new owners from sale price and balance will be paid to the current owner of the vessel.

Considering the above facts, we believe that subject vessel crew complaint is expected to settle in two weeks' time and we confirm to update all the progress in this regard.
