Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 656 of 24 November 2015 "To Approve the Rules on the Minimum Monthly Wage for Normal Working Hours and Minimum Hourly Rate Calculation". -

In accordance with the Labour Law, establishes the minimum monthly wage amount for normal working hours and introduces the formula for the calculation of the minimum hourly rate. It also regulates the relationships between employer and employees related with working hours and minimum wage taking into account the type of employment i.e. part time or full time.
Repeals the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 665 of 27 August 2013 "To Approve the Regulations on Minimum Monthly Wage ad Minimum Hourly Wage Rate" (Latvian Herald, 2013, No. 169).
