Faculta a las autoridades competentes a autorizar el trabajo en aquellas actividades realizadas en los cultivos de caña de azúcar y café, que no contravengan lo estipulado en el Acuerdo, así como también en la pesca artesanal, a partir de los dieciséis (16) años de edad, siempre que queden plenamente garantizadas la educación, salud, la seguridad y la moralidad de los adolescentes y que éstos hayan recibido instrucción o formación ocupacional adecuada y específica en la rama de actividad correspondiente. Impone a las autoridades competentes el deber de identificar y sancionar a los responsables del incumplimiento de las disposiciones sobre la prohibición del trabajo infantil peligroso.

Part 8 provides for work of children and adolescents in cultural events, sports and advertising. Part 9 deals with complaints, penalty and entry into force.

Prohibition does not apply to employment of a youth pursuant to the Apprenticeship Law 5713/1953 or at the Vocational Training Centre for Youth under Section 1(b)(3) of the Law. Establishes that chief Work Supervisor may permit employment of a youth for a job, in places, and with restrictions laid down in the permit, if it is essential for the professional training of the youth. Revokes Youth Employment Regulations (Prohibited Jobs and Restricted Jobs), 5714/1954.
