Asylum seekers with personal assets shall use these up before being entitled to benefits. This is an official revision of the original Act of 1993.

Revoca toda la legislación que se oponga a esta ley, particularmente el apartado f) del númeral 1 del artículo 17 de la ley núm. 10/88, de 2 de julio y los artículos 8 y 18 y los números 1, 2 y 3 del párrafo único del artículo 24 de la ley núm. 7/78, de 26 de mayo.

Ley núm. 14/91, de asociaciones.

Establece que las asociaciones pueden tener, entre otros, fines profesionales, científicos, culturales, recreativos, etc., que disponen de autonomía jurídica, administrativa y financiera. Su funcionamiento debe basarse en los principios democráticos de igualdad entre los socios, eligibilidad y libre revocación de los órganos dirigentes, dirección colegiada y rendición de cuentas. Los sindicatos están Sujetos a un régimen específico. Deroga la legislación que se oponga a sus disposiciones, entre ellas el decreto-ley núm. 520/71, y diversas disposiciones del Código Civil y del Código Penal.
