Counter Terrorism and Transnational Organised Crime Act 2009 (Act No. 6 of 2009) -

In addition to providing for measures against terrorism, the Act also provides for the offence of trafficking in persons (Part 8) which includes provisions concerning the trafficking of children, the employment of illegal immigrants and the treatment of victims of trafficking. Part 9 deals with peoples smuggling and offences related to this as well as penalties if convicted.
