    Amends the Trade Association Act B.E. 2509 by repealing and replacing sections 7, 10, 22(1), 30(2), 35 and 36. Also revokes sections 14 and 43. Adds a new section 54/1 concerning penalties where only a fine is imposed.

    Amends the 1966 Act with respect to definition of chamber of commerce, state enterprises and cooperatives as well as repealing and replacing sections 7, 10, 14, 20-23, 24(4), 25, 28(1) and (2), 29(1), (3) and (9), 37(2), 42, and 43(4). A new paragraph (2) is added to section 26 with respect to the director of a chamber of commerce who leaves before the expiration of his/her term. A new provision is to be added as section 60/1 of the Act with respect to fines.

    The Act on the Amendment of Civil Procedure Code (Issue no. 22) B.E. 2548.

    Replaces section 1(14) of the Civil Procedure Code concerning definition of the "executing officer". Adds a new para. 4 and 5 to section 278 concerning the performance of duties and fees of executing officers. Replaces section 285(1) and (2), section 286(1) and (2), section 290 and adds a new section 309 Ter to the Code. Table 5 of the Code is also replaced.

    Civil and Commercial Code: Book 3, Title VI: Hire of Services. - Code on-line [as amended to Code (No.18), B.E.2551 (2008)]

    Governs, in ss. 575 to 586, contracts to render services by an employee to an employer, with an implied promise to pay remuneration. Either party may transfer his right to a third person, with the consent of the other party. Unless otherwise fixed, remuneration is payable at the end of predetermined period or after the services have been rendered. Ss. 579 and 581 to 582 govern termination of a contract. The conditions in wich an employee may be dismissed without notice or compensation are set forth in s. 583. Finally, s. 586 addresses payment of the costs of a return journey for an employee brought from elsewhere at the employer's expense.

    Regulates the establishment and operation of trade associations (defined as means an institution established by several persons, who are engaged in enterprises, for the promotion of the enterprises other than for sharing profit or income) as well as their control and dissolution.
