    Applies to young persons under 20 years of age engaged on board ships, drilling vessels and other mobile installations at sea but excludes persons employed on fishing and catching vessels. Repeals the Regulations concerning Protective Measures for Young People at Sea (R.No. 139, D.No. 81, S.No. 87 of 21 June 1969) and the Regulations concerning Mandatory Training Courses for Apprentice Seamen (R.No. 331, D.No. 203, S.No. 226 of 1 November 1977).

    Regulations concerning Placement of Young Persons in Practical Work in Domestic Trade.

    Provides that young workers who have turned 14 years of age can be placed to work on board ships in domestic trade as part of their education or practical vocational guidance when the work is not hazardous to their health or development.
