Adopts new National Programme on Support of Families. Repeals Articles 1 and 5 of Government Resolution No. 93 of 2000, which gave effect to previous programme. Establishes National Committee on Support of Families, headed by Prime Minister. Objective of Programme is to combat poverty. Programme is planned for 2001-2006 period. Measures provided for include improvement of medical services, better access to education, assistance for disabled persons, job creation programmes, promotion of small enterprises, micro-financing, protection of the environment, and partnership with civil society.
