Act No. VIII-854 of 2 July 1998 to amend the Act on Education (Text No. 4).

Provides for tasks of the educational system and determines the various types of education (inter alia, primary, secondary, vocational, higher education). Also provides for creation, reorganization and liquidation of educational establishments. Section 17 deals with teachers' wages. Establishes rights, obligations and responsibilities of pupils, parents and teachers and deals with the organization of the educational process.
