The Law No. XII-2470 of 21 June 2016 "To Establish and Implement the Labour Code", as amended to 14 September 2016. - Adoption: 2016-06-21 | Date of entry into force: 2017-01-01 | Date of gradual entry into force: 2018-07-01 | Date of gradual entry into force: 2016-12-20 | LTU-2016-L-104719 Establishes a new Labour Code which applies to the labour relations arising after the entry into force of this law except for the cases described in paragraphs 6-11 of article 6 of this law.
Repeals the previous Labour Code No. IX-926 with all its amendments and supplements; also the Law No. IX-2500 "On Labor Sites"; the Law No. XI-1379 "On the Recruitment of Temporary Employment Companies"; the Law No.X-199 "On Guarantees for Staff"; the Law No. I-1214 "On Determination of Late Payment of Benefits Related to Employment Relationships".
The new Labour Code includes:

Law No.XII-1927 of 30 June 2015 "On Reimbursement of Part of Remuneration/Salary Disproportionately Reduced as a Consequence of the Economic Crisis to Persons Paid from State or Municipal Budget". - Adoption: 2015-06-30 | Date of entry into force: 2015-09-01 | LTU-2015-L-102254 This law seeks to reimburse the losses of remuneration/salary disproportionately reduced as a result of the economic crisis incurred by persons who are paid for their work from the state or municipal budget, which would not have been incurred, had the uniform and proportionate reduction of remuneration/salary at the aforementioned scale been ensured.
Article 1 sets the scope of the law; Article 2 introduces the procedure for calculating and paying reimbursement of the losses of remuneration/salary; Article 3 sets the source of financing of repayable sums.

Act No. I-1191 of 1 February 1996 to amend and supplement the Act on employment of the population (Text No. 264). Adoption: 1996-02-01 | LTU-1996-L-46500 Provides for a modification of the Act's title, replacing "employment of the population" by "support of the unemployed". Amends provisions relating to the unemployed, the State guarantees for employment, the employment fund, the right to unemployment benefits, the level of unemployment benefits, cases when unemployment benefits are not granted, the reduction, suspension and end of payment of unemployment benefits. Deals also with vocational training of the unemployed and of workers told in advance they will be dismissed.

Ordinance No. 47 of 9 January 1995 to provide for the procedure of establishment of hours of work for part-time employment. Adoption: 1995-01-09 | Date of entry into force: 1995-01-09 | LTU-1995-R-41816 Concerns conditions for determining hours of work for part-time workers upon demand. May be granted to pregnant women, women or men with a child or children who are less than 14, or invalid children who are less than 16, disabled persons and people taking care of ill family members. This agreement on part-time work can provide for: reduction of work hours or work days, but the part-time working day must not be shorter than half of the ordinary working day, and the part-time working week must be shorter than three work days per week. Wages are proportional to work time or accomplished work.
