    Law No. 79 of 1989 amending the Law of leasing the agrarian reform lands to agricultural companies and individuals No. (35) of 1983.

    Unused lands may be leased to Iraqi and Arab agricultural companies or individuals for a period of between five and twenty-five years. Lease contracts are renewable accounting to conditions and obligations determined by the Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation.
