    Implements the amendment made by section 33 of the Welfare Reform Act 2009, which amended section 8 of the Jobseekers Act 1995 to allow for a new sanction to be applied in certain circumstances when a jobseeker's allowance (JSA) claimant fails to attend an appointment. The sanction is that, although entitlement to JSA will continue, the benefit will not be payable for a period of at least one week and not more than two weeks.
