    Regulates rights of members of national minorities as well as responsibilities of ministries and other authorities and administrative bodies of regional self-government in relation to them. National minority is defined as "a community of citizens of the Czech Republic who live on the territory of the present Czech Republic and as a rule differ from other citizens by their common ethnic origin, language, culture and traditions. They represent a minority of citizens and at the same time they show their will to be considered a national minority for the purpose of common efforts to preserve and develop their own identity, language and culture and at the same time express and preserve interests of their community which has been formed in the course of history". Rights of national minorities include: free choice of membership of national minority, right of association of members of national minority, right of participation in dealing with matters concerning national minority, right of using name and surname in the languare of national minority, right of multilingual names and denominations, right of using language of national minority in official documentation and hearing before court, right of using language of national minority during elections, right of education in language of national minority, right of development of culture of members of national minorities, and right of spreading and receiving information in language of national minority.

    Determines, inter alia, the conditions and means of awarding financial compensation for certain social consequences resulting from the restructuration of the iron industry. The main condition of eligibility for compensation shall be that the unemployment rate of the district in question be equal or superior to the national average in the previous semester of the calendar year.

    Sets the obligatory rate of employment of persons with diminished working capacity at 5 percent in enterprises employing more than 20 employees. Seriously disabled persons shall count as three workers with diminished capacities.

    The second part of the Notification regulates the working hours and rest time of members of the Police force. The third part regulates the conditions of leave for the exercice of a public function or for studies. The eighth part defines rights of the parties in case of termination of service.

Part V provides for on-board service and labour relations of crew members, Part VI for safeguarding of property, and Part VII for state administration and state supervision of maritime navigation. Finally, Part VIII contains joint, transitory and concluding provisions.
