This Regulation made under the Ministry of Correctional Services Act amends Regulation 649 of Revised Regulations of Ontario, 1980 by adding a French version of the original English text. R.21 provides that a correctional inmate shall be entitled to all the money that he earns for work performed, and provides procedures for the deposit of the money by the establishment director.

Assujettit d'autres services publics aux dispositions du code relatives au maintien des services essentiels en cas de grève ou de lock-out et allonge la période pendant laquelle un décret d'assujettissement peut être pris par le gouvernement.

This act establishes English as the official language in Alberta. Members of the Legislative Assembly are granted the right to speak either French or English in the Assembly. French or English may be used in oral communication in all Alberta courts dealing with provincial offences.

Section 2 provides that all Acts, Ordinances and Regulations and other legal actions, proceedings etc. enacted prior to the coming into force of this Act are declared valid notwithstanding that they were enacted, printed and published in English only. Section 4 provides any person with the right to use English or French in oral communication in proceedings before certain Courts. Members of the legislature of Alberta may use English or French in the Assembly.

Comprehensive act covering labour relations between employers and trade unions. Establishes a labour relations board to adjudicate questions arising under the Act. Provides for rights of employers and employees, certification of trade unions as bargaining representatives. Governs collective bargaining and related disputes. Part 3 deals with similar matters but applies solely to the construction industry.
