    Establishes that non-contributory pension of $75.00 shall be payable to registered female person who (a) is 65 years of age or older; (b) is permament resident or citizen of Belize; and (c) has inadequate or no source of income. Also provides for establishment of Committee for determining these claims as well as for several related matters.

    Regulates various issues related to pension. Inter alia makes provision for circumstances in which pension may be granted, pension and gratuity upon resignation, retirement on grounds of public interest, normal retirement age, maximum pension, suspension of pension on re-employment, pensions not assignable, pensions cease on bankruptcy, pensions cease on imprisonment, pensions on accepting certain appointments, gratuity where officer dies in service after retirement, gratuities to dependants when non-pensionable officer dies in service, pensionable officer dying after injury or contracting disease, war service to count for pension purposes, and several related matters.

    Regulates granting of widows' and children's pensions. On death of contributor, Governor-General shall grant in respect of contributor's service: (a) where he leaves widow, pension to that widow; (b) where he had a wife, pension for the benefit of children of marriage. Pensions under this Act depend on deceased's eligibility for pension. Also provides for minimum benefit, cases in which widow's pension shall not be granted, bankruptcy of widow, payment of pension in case of desertion, beneficiaries and mode of payment of children's pensions, as well as some related matters.
