    Removes requirement that agents and managers invovled in professional boxing and martial arts hold licenses. Also amends provisions of the Professional Boxing Control Act 1985 requiring contestants to be registered and to submit to medical examination by a certified medical practitioner before and after bouts.

    Boxing and Wrestling Control Regulation 1995 (No. 455 of 1995).

    Regulates matters related to boxing contests, including registration and weighing-in of contestants. Provides for pre and post-bout medical examinations of boxers, and allows a medical practitioner to stop a contest if he or she believes the contestant is no longer able to defend himself. Specifies protective gear to be worn by contestants. Made under the Boxing and Wrestling Control Act 1986.

    Amends the Occupational Therapists Act 1979, the Chiropractors and Osteopaths Act 1979, the Psychologists Act 1977, the Speech Pathologists Act 1979, the Podiatrists Act 1969, and the Physiotherapists Act 1964 in respect of membership of board and tenure of office; the Dental technicians and Dental Prosthetists Act 1991 concerning qualifications for registration; the Health Act 1937 in respect of conditions of licence and confidentiality; and the Medical Act 1939 regarding specialists and disqualification from membership of the Board. Amends the Health Rights Commission Act 1991 concerning disciplinary proceedings, council meetings, cooperation with interested organisations and related matters.

    Reforms the law relating to services for intellectually disabled persons to promote their maximum physical and social integration through participation in the life of the local community. Requires informing persons admitted to any residential institution or programme of their legal rights. Medical practitionners appointed or employed have their conditions of employment and remuneration set by the Public Services Board and are subject to disciplinary standards set forth in Schedule 4 appended to the present Act. Other staff employed by the Department under the Public Service Act 1974 remain subject to that Act.

    Establishes a separate legal framework for youth affairs. Inter alia, aims at encouraging the provision of training for persons working with youth and others in related fields. Maintains the Youth Policy Development Council established under the Youth, Sport and Recreation Act 1972 and outlines the Council's functions.
