    These Regulations provide, inter alia, for the membership of Industrial Commissions, representation for the Commissions and Court, and the powers and functions of Inspectors. Part V specifies the powers of the Commission in relation to the prevention and settlement of disputes. Part VII covers the manner in which organisations may be registered and amalgamated. Rules for membership and elections for office are also provided. Issued under the Industrial Relations Act 1988. Title replaced by Regulation No. 269 of 1996 to Workplace Relations Regulations.

    This Act amends interpretive provisions of the Shop Trading Hours Act 1984 (No. 61), as amended, and inserts a provision requiring the occupier of a shop to keep a record of employees. The powers of inspectors are also changed.

    Industrial Safety, Health and Welfare (Administrative and General) Amendment Regulations 1987. S.R. No. 268.

    These Regulations amend the Industrial, Safety, Health and Welfare (Administrative and General) Regulations 1979 (S.R. No. 57) to provide, inter alia, that the Secretary for Labour shall be notified before constructors commence any construction work.
