    Decree issued under s. 38 of the Labour Code to govern work performed at the workplace or at home by women, partially disabled persons, retired persons and other categories. Part-time work shall be at least three hours per day, or three days per week; rest periods shall not be included in working hours, except for nursing mothers.     Decree issued under s. 81 of the Labour Code. A committee shall be responsible for setting forth the way in which the Decree shall be applied. The number of hours of night work shall be one hour less than the number of normal hours of work. Night work is prohibited in principle for women and young persons. Contains provisions on the type and characteristics of such clothing and equipment, the respective duties of the administration, trade unions and employees, the circumstances under which it is necessary to distribute work clothes and the requirements for using protective devices.     Decree issued in practical application of s. 53(2) of the Labour Code. A three-member committee in each work unit shall supervise payments for overtime. The Decree lays down the conditions for payment and method of calculating overtime hours. Overtime hours performed on holidays shall be remunerated at double the rate for regular hours, but it shall be prohibited to perform overtime work on certain holidays. The total payment for overtime work may not exceed the employee's monthly wage. Various provisions of the Decree cover officials, workers and service staff. Available in English.

    The Decree has the aim of compensating and encouraging persons who accept work in regions in which the economic, cultural and social conditions are substandard and in areas where the climate is unhealthy, harmful to health and dangerous for the physical and moral well-being of the staff. The Decree applies to various categories of employees. The provisions in question distinguish between regional conditions which are unfavourable from an economic, social and cultural point of view and conditions linked to the climate of certain areas of the country. The Decree contains three chapters and 11 tables showing the indices for the bonuses to be granted in respect of each region. Available in English.

    Decree issued under s. 115 of the Labour Code. It sets forth a range of occupational safety and health standards which are to be adopted where applicable in various sectors of activity in accordance with their special features. The five Chapters are entitled as follows: 1. General provisions; 2. Duties and responsibilities of the administration (establishment of competent services, information, training, guidance, etc.); 3. Standards and principal rules on prevention and occupational safety techniques in production centres (hygiene, protective measures, installations, automation, etc.); 4.     Under the Act, a cooperative is an association of persons who have voluntarily joined together to achieve a common social and economic end through the formation of a democratically managed and controlled organization. Provisions are made for the establishment of a department of cooperative developement which provides assistance, guidance and advice relating to the organization, management, coordination and integrated functionning of cooperatives. Conditions for registration include a membership of at least eleven individuals and the approval of the registrar , (whereas conditions for registration of a secondary cooperative include a membership of at least three cooperators It sets forth the criteria for membership (as well as its termination) and lists the shares it may hold. Other provisions cover the management and organization of cooperatives, general meetings, the managing committee, capital and financial affairs, accounts and audit, settlement of disputes, inspection and inquiry. Specifies that a cooperative may grant loans to its members as well as to another cooperative.

    Deals with various aspectes of labour relations. Chapter I regulates conditions of employment, labour contract, and apprenticeship contract. Chapter II provides for wages, employment accident benefit, cash sickness benefit, invalidity benefit, welfare fund, death allowance, and survivor's benefit. Chapter III deals with obligations of workers, employers and apprentices, as well as discipline, holidays, sick leave, and unjustified absence. Chapter IV regulates termination of contract of employment and apprenticeship contract; Chapter V hours of work. Chapter VI provides for prevention of accidents, and Chapter VII for hygiene at the workplace.
