Second Region

Made under Minimum Wages Act. Sets minimum wage for workers in Trinidad and Tobago at seven dollars per hour, exclusive of gratuities, service charges and commissions. Also provides for minimum daily, weekly and monthly wages. Output or piece workers at employer's premises or whose hours are otherwise recorded and whose hours are controlled by employer shall receive no less than the rate of seven dollars per hour. Also provides for rest periods, meal break, overtime and some related matters.
