Consists of eleven Chapters and four Schedules. Chapter II sets forth a Declaration of Principals, including the right to work (Art. 7); the protection of work and hours of work (Art. 12 & 13); the equality of men and women (Art. 14); labour of minors (Art. 15 & 16); and social assistance and insurance (Art. 17). Fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual are set out in Chapter IV, which contains a provision on forced labour (Art. 35). Chapters V through IX regulate the structure of the Government. Chapter X contains provisions relating to Public Service, including the protection of pension rights (Art. 113). Chapter XI contains miscellaneous provisions, providing for, inter alia, the creation of an Employment Commission to regulate labour practices (Art. 120).
