Part VII concerns the engagement and welfare of seamen, and includes provisions on engagement and discharge of seaman, seamen's wages, property of deceased seamen, provisions and water, health, welfare and occupational safety, protection of seamen from imposition, provisions as to discipline and relief and repatriation of seamen.
