Abstract/Citation

These Regulations, promulgated under the authority of section 34 of the Industrial and Vocational Training Act 1982, create a Trade Testing Committee. The Committee shall appoint Trade Testing Panels whose duty it will be to formulate and conduct tests to determine the levels of skills of workers in various trades and occupations. The Panels will also develop national skills standards for various occupations. The Regulations also deal with procedural matters relating to the tests, such as applications, fees, format, length, and certificates.
