Arts. 1-18 are reproduced from a pamphlet edition published by the Parliament of Finland, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Justice, Helsinki, 1984; arts.19-95 are reproduced from a translation supplied by the Consulate General of Finland in New York. The Constitution is divided into 11 Parts. Part II provides for general rights, including human rights, and legal protection of citizens; Part V concerns courts of law; other Parts relate to legislation, government and administration, education, etc. In addition, the volume contains the Parliament Act of Jan. 13, 1928, and two proposed Acts: one on the amendment of the Constitution Act, and another on the amendment of ss.3 and 8 of the Parliament Act.
