The new consolidated Somaliland Police Force (Amendments and Additions) Law (Law No. 63/2013 (2019) which replaces the 2017 Law has, as set out in Article 50 of the Law come into force on its signature by the President on 17 May 2019 and was gazetted in a special issue of the Somaliland Gazette dated 1 June 2019.
