Resumen/cita: This decree is intended to clarify the wage and benefits that are due to a person who works in his/her home on an hourly wage or on contract. With this decree, homeworkers are provided with the same benefits and wage regulations as are provided for employees who work at their place of employment. However, there are some exceptions as regards the flexibility of work time and the amount of hours of work needed to qualify for benefits.
