| Resumen/cita: | Provides for a National Employment Authority, for the establisement of an Employment and Training Corporation, for the regulation of employment and training services and for related matters, including registration of job-seekers, referral for employment, notification and filling of vacancies, engagement of Government employees, functions of the Corporation in relation to training, licening and operation of employment agencies, manpower records, apprenticeship and traineeship, training standards and certification, and penalties for offences. The Employment Service Act and the Industrial Training Act (LS. 1952 - Malta 2) are repealed subject to certain provisions relating to arrangements already made thereunder, with the exception of the provision of the Employment Service Act relating to the Auxiliary Workers and Training Scheme. |
