|Abstract/Citation:||Establishes the state policy in the sphere of combating human trafficking, organizational grounds of it, state subjects directly involved in the combat, activity of public associations, mechanism of redirecting victims of human trafficking, the functions of the united database of information on human trafficking cases. Also deals, inter alia, with the legal grounds for the recognition and granting legal status to victims of human trafficking, the rights of a person suffered from human trafficking before being recognized as victim and the rights of the recognized victim. Defines the procedure of providing support to victims, the peculiarities of support to child victims, of preventing human trafficking, which includes awareness raising, appropriate educational policy aimed at prevention, also the international cooperation in this sphere.
Repeals the previous law of 15 June 2004 "On Combating Human Trafficking" (Abkhori Majlisi Oli Respubliki Tajikistan, 2004. No.7, p. 454).
