| Abstract/Citation: | Amends para 2 of the Preamble on legal status of refuges as follows 'The Kyrgyz Republic shall provide all refugees with equal legal status without discrimination as to race, language, gender, ethnicity, religion, age, political or other views, education, country of origin, material or other status, as well as other circumstances'. Amends Article 1 on Definition of the term "refugee" replacing the phrase 'a person was forced to flee from the place of his habitual residence on the territory of the other state' by the phrase 'a person who out of his/her country of citizenship or the place of his/her habitual residence'. Amends, inter alia, Article 2 para 6 on Main Definitions of the Present Law and Article 3 on Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic Governing Refugee Issues.Deletes the phrase Kyrgyz Republic in para 2 of Article 11 on Administrative expulsion from the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. |
