Second Region

Repeals and replaces section 13 of the Law for the Organization of Courts of Justice. It now reads:
"There shall be one Chief Judge of Region for each Region in number nine Regions with the locations and jurisdictions as prescribed by Courts of Justice Administrative Committee by publishing in the Government Gazette and three Deputy Chief Judge of Region for each Region. In the case where it is necessary for the official interests, the Courts of Justice Administrative Committee with the approval of the Supreme Court President, may designate more than three Deputy Chief Judges of Region, but not exceeding six persons.
Upon a vacancy of the Chief Judge of Region or the person holding such a position cannot perform his official duty, the most senior Deputy Chief Judge of Region shall assume the duty on his behalf. If the most senior Deputy Chief Judge of Region cannot perform his duty, the senior Deputy chief Judge of Region in respective sequence order down the line shall assume the post to perform such duty.
In the case where there is nobody to perform the duty in the place of the persons under paragraph 2 above, the Supreme Court President may issue an order to entrust a Judge to perform the duty in their place.
A senior Judge or a Judge attached to the Court shall not be eligible to perform the duty in place of the post under paragraph one above."
It also amends articles 14(2), 28(3) and 29(3).
