| Abstract/Citation: | Imposes fines and punishment for any kind of physical or mental abuse and harassment, purchase, sale, illegal exploitation and employment of children and adolescents. Applies to all persons who have not reached the age of eighteen years. Article 3 imposes imprisonment from 6 to 12 month or a fine from 10 to 20 million rials. Disciplinary measures under Article 59 of the Penal Code and Article 1179 of the Civil Code are exempt from this law. From the date of adoption of this Law all other laws that are contradictory to this Law are null. |
