Abstract/Citation
Regulations respecting occupational safety and health in coal mines in Nova Scotia, issued under Part II of the Canada Labour Code. Sections 3 to 9 relate to application of the Regulations, records, reports, plans and procedures, qualifications, appointments and supervision. Part I provides for the storage and handling of explosives and detonators, care of blasting machines, and shotfirers, Part II - safe occupancy of the workplace, Part III - underground transportation and hoisting, Part IV - ventilation, Part V - explosion and fire protection, Part VI - plans, and Part VII - hazardous occurrences. Followed by five annexes.
