| Abstract/Citation: | Amends, the following articles: Article 1(9) - amends the definitions for "Trafficking in persons" and also "the fight against human trafficking"; Article 3(5) - adds after the words "against the traffickers," the words "with full respect for their rights."; Article 5(2) paragraph 8 - replaces the words "and on this - on the basis of development" with the words "and on this basis - the development."; Article 7(1) paragraph 5 - repealed; Article 9(9) - after the words "developing" and "includes the existing" add the words "professional" and "general education"; Article 21(1) - after the word "family" add the words "or legal representatives"; Article 21(3)- after the words "at his own request" add the words "or the request of his legal representatives"; Article 21(4) - after the words "of trafficking in persons" add the words "or his legal representatives"; Article 23(1) - wherever the word "shall" appears, it shall be replaced with the word "may". After the words "human trafficking" add the words "and to assist victims of trafficking." Article 27(2) - replace the words "executive bodies in the Kyrgyzstan Republic in charge of custody and guardianship" with "bodies for the protection of the rights and interests of children". |
