Abstract/Citation: This Act repeals the Vanuatu Maritime Authority Act and provides that any function, power or responsibility under any Act, other than the Vanuatu Maritime Authority Act [CAP 253], of the Vanuatu Maritime Authority or the Commissioner of Maritime Affairs may be transferred to such other person or persons as the Prime Minister may appoint in writing.

The following Acts are repealed:
- Vanuatu Maritime Authority Act (No. 29 of 1998) (28 December 1998)
- Vanuatu Maritime Authority (Amendment) Act (No. 29 of 2002) (31 December 2002)
- Vanuatu Maritime Authority (Amendment) Act (No. 9 of 2003) (21 July 2003)
- Vanuatu Maritime Authority (Amendment) Act (No. 2 of 2004) (23 December 2004)
