| Abstract/Citation: | It amends the following articles of the basic law 1996-2009 (67(I) of 1996; 15(I) of 1997; 67(I) of 1997; 10(I) of 1999; 193(I) of 2002; 45(I) of 2003; 25(I) of 2004; 221(I) of 2004; 198(I) of 2007; 89(I) of 2008; 88(I) of 2009): - article 13 by deleting number "1" - article 14 is replaced with another one which mentions that it is forbidden to have a private university school being establish and functioning by a person who is not citizen of the Republic or other member state, by a person who is convicted for an offence of ethics or of dishonour, by a member of Republic's public service or public educational service or by a legal person of public law, by a person who is in the service of a foreign government or organization, by a private company registered in Cyprus or in another member state, in which a member belongs to one or more of the previously mentioned categories. It is also stipulated the procedure of granting diplomas after information of the Minister of Education. |
