| Abstract/Citation: | The purpose of this law is to facilitate the adaptation of the national legislation to the EU acquis on the field of asylum. Introduces a new updated process of treating asylum requests. a) Introducing provisions for adapting the national legislation to the Directive 2003/9/EC of the Council of January 27, 2003, concerning the minimum standards of receiving asylum seekers. b) Introducing provisions for adapting the national legislation to the Council's Decision 2000/596/EC of September 28, 2000, concerning the creation of a European Fund for Refugees. c) Implementing the EU Regulation No. 343/2003 of the Council of February 18, 2003. d) Implementing the EU Regulation No. 1560/2003 of the Commission of September 2, 2003. e) Implementing the Dublin Convention which has been ratified with law of 2004. f) Implementing the EU Regulation No. 2725/2000 of the Council of December 11, 2000. g) Implementing the EU Regulation 407/2002 of the Council of February 28, 2002. |
