| Abstract/Citation: | The law amends articles 99, 117, 147,148,153,169,201,202 of the Labour Code of 2004. Article 117 of the Labour Code is amended to provide that a labour contract cannot be cancelled while a woman is pregnant or during maternity leave unless medical consent is obtained. This provision may also be extended to an employee caring for a child under the age of one year. For exceptions to this provision, see articles 113 and 123 of the Labour Code. |
