| Abstract/Citation: | Amends sections 127(1) (disobeying order of court), 150.1(2)(c), 150.1(3) (court appearances), 151, 152, 153(1) (sexual exploitation and offences), 161(1) (order of prohibition), 162-163 (voyeurism), 163-164 (distribution of child pornography), 170-171 (parent or guardian procuring sexual activity), 212 (living on the avails of prostitution of persons under the age of 18 years), 215(3) (penalties), 218 (abandoning child), 276.3(1) (publication prohibited), 486 (protection of witnesses under 18 years), 487.2(1) (prohibition of publication), 517(1), 539(1), 542(2), 631(6), 648(1), 715 and 718 concerning testimony and evidence. Sections 487.2(2), 517(3), 539(4), 542(3) of the Code are also repealed. Amendments are also made to the Canada Evidence Act with respect to witnesses under the age of 18 years (section 16). |
