Abstract/Citation: Aims at eliminating all forms of discrimination against part-time employees, improving the quality of part-time employment and promoting it on a voluntary basis. Prohibits the application on part-time employees of terms and conditions less favourable than those applicable to full-time employees and requires equal treatment and protection especially as regards pay, social security benefits, termination of employment, maternity protection, annual paid leave, parental leave, sick leave, the right to organise and bargain collectively, safety and health and protection against discrimination.
