Abstract/Citation
Repeals the 1957 Penal Code. Governs major and petty offences. Contains 865 provisions and is divided into a General and a Special parts. Covers, inter alia, software-related crimes and white-collar crimes such as corruption. Corporate criminal liability has also been introduced. The General Part covers crimes and criminals; criminal punishment and its application and other subjects. The Special Part specifies issues such as crimes against the Constitutional Order, crimes in violation of international law, crimes against life, property or health.
