Abstract/Citation: | Substantially amends the Immigration Act 2002 by, inter alia, amending the composition and functions of the Immigration Advisory Board and repealing the provisions concerning the Immigration Court. Revises procedures for admission, residence and departure from the Republic. Provides clarification concerning the powers of immigration officers and the appointment, powers and duties of inspectors. Amends the provisions concerning the issuance of quota, general, exceptional skills and inter-company transfer work permits. |
